Carly Fiorina

Carly Fiorina (born Dear Carleton Sneed, Monday 06 September 1954) is an American businessman and former Republican candidate for U.S. Senate representing California. Fiorina served as CEO of Hewlett-Packard 1999-2005, and previously was an executive at AT & T and its equipment and technology subsidiary of Lucent. He is currently a board member of numerous organizations.

Fiorina has been considered one of the most powerful women in business during his tenure at Lucent, and Hewlett-Packard. Branch, HP, Agilent Technologies - which was started by his predecessor, Lew Platt - was completed shortly after joined the company in 1999. Under his leadership, in 2002, the company completed a merger of rival Compaq controversial company computer. In 2005, Fiorina was forced to resign as CEO and chairman of the board of Hewlett-Packard, the following "differences [the government] on how to implement the strategy at HP."
In 2008, Carly Fiorina served as an advisor to Republican presidential candidate John McCain. In November 2009, she would challenge incumbent Democrat Fiorina Barbara Boxer for her Senate seat representing US California.  On June 8, 2010, Carly Fiorina won the Republican primary election, but lost the election on November 2, 2010 Boxer .
