David Nelson

David Oswald Nelson (24 October 1936-11 January 2011) was an actor, director, producer. He was the eldest son of band leader / TV Actor Ozzie and Harriet Hilliard Nelson singer singer and his older brother Eric "Ricky" Nelson.
Nelson with his brother and his parents appeared in the comedy The Long Run The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet in 1950 and 1960. During the race series, Nelson directed several episodes. After the end of the series, he continued acting, directing and producing. His last appearance was in the movie Cry-Baby (1990). For his contribution to the film industry, Nelson was honored with a star on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood on Vine Street, 1501, May 9, 1996.
