Miss Universe candidates took part in a rehearsal open for the media held at the hotel Hilton Sao Paulo on Friday. Present at the rehearsal were Miss Universe choreographer Michael Schwandt, and local choreographer Paula Peixoto.  The beauties will keep on learning the choreographies they will show on stage during the live telecast on September 12th.

Miss Universe 2011 playing Soccer at Pacaembu Stadium

A group of Miss Universe 2011 contestants were invited to visit the Pacaembu Stadium and played a soccer match there under the coaching of Brazilian soccer player Cafu. The beauties were divided in two teams: The Golden Girls and The Glamazons. The final score: The Golden Girls won by 3-0, with Miss Costa Rica scoring twice, and Miss Brazil scoring once.

Miss Universe 2011 contestantsreally enjoyed their day at the Casa Grande resort and Guaruja Beach, one of the most famous beaches in the state of Sao Paulo, despite the bad weather. They posed for photos and video shoots, play beach volleyball. Check out the photos:

[NEWS] Valeriya Aleinikova - Miss Universe Kazakhstan 2011

Valeriya Aleinikova was appointed as the new Miss Universe Kazakhstan 2011. Valeriya from Almaty is 22 year old and stands 1.75m. She will represent Kazakhstan in Miss Universe 2011 in Sao Paulo, Brazil on September 12.A new organization is in charge of Miss Universe in Kazakhstan after the Miss Kazakhstan Organization dropped the franchise last year.
