Everyone's mom told them pointing was rude but some people don't learn. One of them being David Stern. Who was pointing and speaking to the NBA players when that index finger of his at a given moment was directed at Dwayne Wade. To which Wade was none to pleased and said, "You're not pointing your finger at me. I am not your child."
I don't think Stern was pointing at Wade for any reason but talking with his hands, but 20-something millionaires don't need some old guy wagging a finger in their face like their 3rd grade class is having recess canceled cause they couldn't clean up arts and crafts in and orderly fashion.
The last great finger point I remember is was Todd Haley unleashing a devastating point on Josh McDaniels for some sort of running up the score situation.
If that's not a great finger point I don't know what is.

The Frat Guy Point
This is an acknowledgement of a buddy you haven't seen a while and confirmation to meeting up for a beer in a second as soon my current conversation is over. This often goes from point to the "1 second/moment" sign to let the guy know don't go anywhere, Ill be there in a sec you sand bagging son of a bitch. Happens at weddings all he time.
The Frat Guy walk away point
This is a variation of the above point but with out the intention to meet up shortly. This happens when you are on your way out and accidentally make eye contact with someone and want to say hey but cant be stopped. You don't change your posture or walking speed and invite someone to walk towards you but you throw a point their way. Maybe you will catch them later.
