This Penn State story gets weirder and weirder by the minute. First the kid touching stuff by a guy who named his autobiography... Touched... I can't make that up, I mean, I could but I didn't this time.
Then we find out, the district attorney who choose not to file charges back in the day againsy Sandusky has been missing since 2005 and pronounced legally dead last July. What? I don't even know or care what the fuck happened to him, but mysterious nonetheless.
Now, Joe Pa is talking the fall. Which is like blaming the parents when a teenager murders someone. But in our society today, we have to fire/sue/ blame everything and anything. Now, maybe more info will come out, that leads me to believe Joe Pa does deserve to be let go because of this, but right now he seems to be unknowing of wrongdoing.
I guess Joe Pa should have retired years ago, because the same way Woody Hayes is remembered for punching a player, this will be a lasting memory of Joe Pa. Its a shame but I guess if Tressel can get fired for letting kids take benefits and covering it up to the NCAA, and if Mike Leach is gonna get fired for putting Craig James' kid in an equipment shed during practice, then I can see why having a program full of alleged kid-raping is a fire-able offense.
PS- I predict Sandusky kills himself. Its the honorable thing to do a age 66. That's a weird prediction, but this is a pretty fucked up story to begin with.
