ESPN tells Big East to sit down when they pee

The Boston Globe's Mark Blaudschun summarized the possible reasons for expansion, including comments from Boston College athletic director Gene DeFilippo, who was part of the 12-member ACC expansion committee.
"We always keep our television partners close to us," DeFilippo said. "You don't get extra money for basketball. It's 85 percent football money. TV -- ESPN -- is the one who told us what to do. This was football; it had nothing to do with basketball."

Way to spill the beans jackass.  The NFL tells the networks what to do.  The Power Conferences and the Networks have a back and forth probably.  And the Networks tell the weak conferences what to do.

Now I based that off nothing but what I assume happens.  The Big East is dunzo.  The ACC is adding just middle of the pack schools.  The SEC will continue to be the best, the PAC 12 is where I should have gone to school, and the Big Ten needs to make a play for Oklahoma and Texas.
