Elisabeth wants no more children

Elisabeth Hasselbeck is already brooding three children with her husband Tim named Grace, 5, and sons Taylor, 2 and Isaiah, 1 and now she wants no more. Elisabeth says, “I know right now that I have a family that feels full and complete, and as much as it is in our control — because ultimately it isn’t — I know that this is where we feel comfortable enough, challenged enough and enough love in that house, so we are at this point a complete picture”.

Natalie Portman, the 29-year-old actress ended up to be the adult Snow White in Brothers Grimme: Snow White. The movie is built by Brett Ratner. Divorce cancelled for the Pratt couple

Finally and at last, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are back together again living happily now. Yes! Montag have cancelled her divorce with Spencer Pratt! Heidi and Spencer, who separated in April, were spotted to have been kissing on their trip to Santa Barbara zoo. It is known that Montag wished to have settlements in early September though a petition was filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court. While a case for divorce was filed, on the other hand, it was demanded that over the several months they had sneakily been living together in Malibu during summer after resolving to get settled. “We are back together trying to make things work. After spending time together over these past several months Heidi and Spencer have sure to reconcile” the couple told People magazine.

Jewelry Highlights from Paris and Milan

Jewelry hunting at last year's spring ready-to-wear collections was like shooting fish in a barrel. Everywhere you looked there were huge statement necklaces, boatloads of bangles and lots of layered links.

This year? The runway shine is as dull as a Michael Bolton quickstep.

HOWEVER - there are two noteworthy designers that used the jewel to make their lines pop: Giorgio Armani in Milan and Zac Posen in Paris (his show wrapped just hours ago). Observe...

Armani's Spring Ready-to-Wear collection was all about midnight madness. The navy night sky in Africa was Mr. Armani's inspiration, according to Style.com - and the jewelry he chose echoed the sentiment beautifully (I'm digging out my midnight sapphires as we speak...).

Zac Posen's line was more flirty, feathered and flapperish - with mesh jewelry styles that scream "Industrial Maven meets Prohibition Chic". Bravo.

With the Parisian pret-a-porter extravaganza just underway, some of my favorite designers are still on the calendar - Dior/Galliano, Chanel and Jean Paul Gaultier. Will they bejewel their beauties? Stay tuned...

Lauren Miller has got engaged with her long term boyfriend Seth Rogen. She was very surprised indeed at the proposal of marriage because she had never thought regarding it. A source from the American tabloid Life and Style said, “She’d started giving up hope that he would ever pop the question, but he surprised her with the proposal”. It is found that Miller is so happy with Seth. On the other hand, Seth had he recently claimed he will never be a hit with women. “I don’t really get any more attention from the opposite sex. Christina Applegate Designs Jewelry

 

Celebrity jewelry designers are a dime a dozen these days, but I'm happy to report Christina Applegate is flexing her creative muscles for a cause other than the status of her own bank account. 

People reports the pregnant Samantha Who? star is assisting designer, Alex Woo to create a pendant necklace to honor Breast Cancer Awareness month and raise money for her Right Action for Women foundation.  A breast cancer survivor, herself, Applegate was honored to be a part of the process.

“This piece reminds me so much of the roses I made out of ribbons for my friends and family while in the hospital,” Christina told People. “I am so grateful to Alex for creating such a beautiful piece to benefit Right Action for Women. Proceeds from the necklace will help women at high risk for breast cancer get the screenings and testing they need to beat this disease.”

The tree and branches within the pendant–offered in both silver ($198) and gold ($998)–are designed to signify balance, peace, harmony and the curves of a woman. The seven leaves represent each day of the week, reminding women to live everyday to the fullest.

The singer Christina Aguilera thinks that she might have put on too much of weight over the weekend at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Burlesque played by Cher, Christina plays the role of a little town girl who ventures to Los Angeles and finds herself in a neo-burlesque club. However, her weight gain has left many insiders mystified. Many believes that she has put on about a stone in the past three months. “The whole movie is choreography and she was very active so I’m surprised she’s piled on the pounds so quickly.” Anguilera says.

Helen Mirren at last reveals her secret behind her surprisingly toned midriff tummy. Mirren declares that it is by sucking her tummy in. she is 65 years old actrees today and still her tummy’s very well toned. Stephen Fry, British actor and a TV presenter has been taken into the cast of Sherlock Holmes 2. He is taking the role of Sherlock’s elder brother Guy Ritchie. Fry says, “I’m playing Mycroft in the sequel to the Sherlock Holmes film Guy Ritchie directed with Robert Downey Jr., and that sort of part is fun, but just once in a while to play a genuine all round sort of lead figure with complexity and tragedy and wit and all the sort of things that Oscar [Wilde] had was a once in a lifetime thrill,” Downey Jr. is due to reprise the role of Sherlock for the movie, alongside Jude Law has his sidekick Watson. Fry over his career has appeared in many big roles and he is well known for the 1997 docu-drama movie Wilde as well.

He has already another son of 20 months old with his girlfriend Dolores Fonzi was tremendously happy to share the happy news with his fans in Twitter. Lady Gaga’s: grandfather dies

Lady GaGa’s grandfather has died. The World War II veteran Joseph Germanotta passed away on Friday this year when he was 88 years old just two days after she or Lady Gaga had visited him at a nursing home. She was seen at his funeral downhearted and was comforted by the rumoured boyfriend named Luc Carl on Saturday. Gaga, her real name Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta has declared about how much she loved her grandfather before by dedicating the song Speechless to him at the concert in Nottingham. Her grandfather Joseph has survived with his wife Angelina of 57-years old and son Joseph. The family has requested for a donation to be made to the Micheal Foundation for Parkinson’s Research instead of sending flora.

Sex of baby unknown to mother Melissa

Melissa Rycroft can not wait to see her first baby!!! However, she does not have an idea if it is a boy or girl and she can not wait to find out the news either! Rycroft said to the People magazine “We got our first report, got all excited and then we went back a few weeks later and it was a conflicting report. We’re not sure, hopefully in the next week or two we’ll get 100 percent confirmation.” She is passing a wonderful time feeling eager to know about the sex of her baby.

Name Your Own Pink Diamond

Pink diamonds always give us jewelry hounds the shivers (in a good way), and when one this big goes on the auction block? We're talking 'commotion'.

According to Luxist, a rare 10.11 carat orangy-pink diamond is causing a stir up in Canada and with good reason: it's the most expensive diamond ever auctioned in the great land of the maple leaf. The pink gem  is estimated to bring in $2.5 million US and comes from the world-renowned Argyle mine in Australia (the producer of most of the world's pink diamonds).

And the best part in my book? Whoever grabs the gem on October 3rd will get the honor of "naming" the stone for the record books.  What would you name it if it came into your grubby little hands, jewelry hounds?

Lindsay out of jail

LINDSAY Lohan has been released from jail. Yes, at last, she is now free after $300,000 bail was posted to her that was granted after her attorney launched an appeal. Before her release, Judge Patricia Schnegg overturned Judge Elden Fox’s initial ruling claiming that Lindsay Lohan must stay till 22nd October, the day of her next appearing in court. Although Lindsay is a woman, the judge ordered that within 24 hours of release, Lindsay must be fitted with a SCRAM alcohol-monitoring device. Lindsay, who now had been in jail for 13 days out of a 90 days this July, was sent back behind the bars the second time when she was a failure to two court-ordered drug tests, testing positive for cocaine and amphetamine abuse. It was believed that Judge Fox would send Lindsay Lohan, 24, back to rehab instead of prison.

No matter how bad her song was on the season premiere of “Saturday Night Live” last night but Katy Perry looked awesome. She was the chief guest on the season premiere. However, wherever she goes, her boobs shall certainly lead her way. Her song really did not matter a lot, what actually mattered was that she was wearing a cut-up Elmo shirt in an obvious reference to "Sesame Street" boobgate.

Kristen Bell’s new movie to be released

Even though Kristen Bell has been doing many hot movies, this time the upcoming movie that might be called Burlesque, where she would be acting with Christina Aguilera and Cher, wants all people not to expect too much of nudity on the big screen. She says, “There's lot of sexiness and I show a lot of skin but there is no nudity”. The reason why people should not expect much nakedness is that according to Bell, he says that Burlesque does not relate to stripping but is rather a funny, playful tease. GISELE BUNDCHEN ENJOYS HER MOTHERHOOD

Living a motherhood life is not so easy job says the 30-year-old supermodel Gisele Bundchen. Nevertheless, nowadays, her view and tune has altered after she had given birth to her first baby boy, Benjamin, with her husband, NFL player Tom Brady, in late 2009. On the other hand, her spouse Tom had a previous relation where he begot a 3-year-old son named John. Bundchen declares that motherhood is “so, so, brilliant!” She also mentions that a baby has fulfilled her life and that she cannot imagine a life without her baby.

Kristie Alley’s effort to lose weight

The great 59-year-old American actress, Kristie Alley, admitted that although she lost 75 pounds initially, she had regained 230 pounds in weight last year. However, after a lot of struggle, Alley had managed to cut down by 50 pounds under the Organic Liaison program. Alley is also planning to lose another 30 pounds! The star's effort to lose weight was acknowledged on her A&E reality show "The Big Life." Alley admitted to Ladies Home Journal in April that no one ever pointed out she was getting fat. Portia changes her name to Portia DeGeneres

Portia Degeneres, an Australian-born actress, was born with adopting the name Amanda Lee Rogers but later was named as Portia de Rossi when first becoming a model, has been granted the order to change her name to Portia Lee James DeGeneres on Thursday. Therefore, PORTIA de Rossi has now become Mrs. DeGeneres! Portia met the TV star Ellen DeGeneres in 2004 as found, and later got married in 2008 over a time when in California gay marriage was legal. However, neither woman attended the hearing. The 37-year-old Australian-born actress asked for an appeal for a name alteration was granted by Superior Court in Los Angeles through a closed hearing on Thursday.

Shania wishes to write her autobiography

It has been known that Shania Twain is resolving to write her autobiography which shall also include about her recent divorce. Furthermore, the superstar announced on the 22nd of September that the book will cover all her hardships during her childhood and how she became one of the biggest selling acts in history of music. Twain said that the couple's problems created "a sudden urgency to document my life before I ran out of time." The untitled autobiography shall be published by Atria Books and is hoping to be released over the Spring in 2011. Meanwhile, it has been announced that Shania Twain will host the show ‘Why not? With Shania Twain' which is currently scheduled to staging in early 2011. She rose to prominence in the 1990s with hits like 'Man! I Feel Like a Woman!', however, she has gone on to become one of the world's biggest selling artists.

Lindsay Lohan: Propensity of returning to jail

Lindsay Lohan, a Hollywood actress, is expected to turn up in court after a judge has withdrawn her probation. According to a report, Judge Elden Fox revoked Lohan's probation Monday and signed a bench warrant for her arrest. Lohan's 2007 probation drunken driving conviction required drug tests from time to time. She had already spent almost a month in a court-ordered drug rehab program ensued by a 13-day jail. Fox later enforced a new set of rules for her to abide by until November that involved weekly counseling sessions for alcohol and drug rehabilitation and random drug tests and behavioral therapy. In the year of 2007, Lohan was arrested twice; the first arrest was after Lohan lost control of her car and struck a curb and in the second incident she was charged for having cocaine. As per another report, fourteen days later, after Lohan had her Malibu drug and alcohol checked out, she was arrested again in July 2007.

Lindsay Lohan was spotted last night at Ana De Costa's jewelry show in Los Angeles looking fresh-faced and ready to consume - far from the frightened soon-to-be sentenced drama queen we might have expected.

The jewelry show featured D-listers Brittny and Lisa Gastineau's new jewelry line, 'Tres Glam' which features their signature 'eye' theme - a power symbol known to 'ward off danger' according to the mother-daughter duo.

Too bad Lindsay didn't pick one up, cuz...well, it's slammer time again for our favorite tabloid fixation.

People Magazine reports the stunned actress was cuffed and led away by authorities after the judge sentenced her to prison until her next hearing on October 22nd - almost a month away!

Color-Changing Sapphires, A Love Story

Sapphires aren't just the blingy blue bauble often likened to the color of Elizabeth Taylor's eyes - they're crazy chameleons that wear a coat of many colors. While deep blue is certainly what most of us think of when it comes September's birthstone, the gem also comes in a rainbow of hues - from pink and green to yellow and red (also known as - a ruby!) Cool, right?

But sapphires have a special shade that I recently discovered, and it's downright drool-worthy: the color-changing sapphire.

Not quite purple, not quite red, not quite blue - the ever-elusive color changer is a slippery little devil that injects some much needed intrigue into the gemstone world. I admittedly just came across the 'c-c sapph', when writing about the gorgeous 'Royal Butterfly' brooch a few days ago - and decided to do some digging to find out more.

Here's the skinny:

While many sapphires may exhibit faint color changes upon exposure to incandescent or fluorescent lights, the 'c-c sapph' is a dramatic diva, bless her heart. Most color change sapphires belong to one of two groups depending on their color change: the green to red (alexandrite), and the blue to purple kind.

Most alex type color change sapphires are from Songea, Tanzania while the blue-purples occur in Madagascar, Sri Lanka, Burma, and other parts of East Africa and Tanzania.  In all color change stones, the strength of the change is probabably the most important factor affecting their value - but the blue to purple variety tend to be the more pricey option.

The Situation - Gym, Tan, Laundry, Jewelry?

He may not have won the judges' hearts on Dancing With The Stars last night, but Jersey Shore's alpha male, Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino, is betting his 15 minutes will get him a piece of the jewelry pie like all the other D-listers worth their salt (see Kelly Bensimon, Tori Spelling, and Priscilla Presley for more).

So, here's the situation: Sorrentino is partnering with Jeff George of Luxury Laces to start a line of rosary necklaces and sneaker jewelry. What good Italian Catholic boy wouldn't want to wear Rosary beads while he creeps, right? And sneaker jewelry - as in rhinestoned laces (what else?) - are the perfect way to avoid those 'grenades' on the dance floor.

“Luxury Laces has always been a favorite of the Sorrentino boys,” said a family friend according to Radoronline. “The guys wear them, and they give the rosary blinged out necklaces to their girls.”

And if Jersey Shore jewelry isn't your cup of tea, ladies, The Sitch is apparently designing a line of women's underwear, according to wetpaint.com.

Blingy Butterfly Gets The Royal Treatment

Now that the jewelry-barren landscape that was New York Fashion Week is behind me, it's time to get back to blingy basics. And there's no better way to celebrate than by ogling this bodacious butterfly bauble that just joined the storied coffers of the Smithsonian Institution.

Designed by Cindy Chao, the "Royal Butterfly" is a three-dimensional diamond-and gemstone-studded brooch that took over two years to create. The design is balanced by four large rough diamond slices and includes more than 20 color gradients comprised of 2,318 colorless and colored diamonds, color-changing sapphires, colored sapphires, rubies and tsavorites.

Color-changing sapphires? Awesome.


Chao generously gifted her "Royal Butterfly" to the Smithsonian, which now lives with some of the world's most significant jewels, including the famous Hope Diamond.

The designer's 'hope' was not only for viewers to appreciate the art in a new medium, but that it would also inspire "people to dream and create" and "continue to contribute to the evolution of culture and the world around them."

Ms. Chao? You had me at 'color-changing sapphires'.

Shut the front door! Marchesa just hit a Fashion Week home run with their stunning presentation of Oscar-worthy gowns. I'm sure Rachel Zoe has already hoarded the highlights for her growing list of A-listers.

With jewelry a veritable no-show on the runways this season, it's nice to get a lower jaw-drop moment from the fashion at least, and Style.com reports onlookers were gasping aloud in awe at the daring display of drapery.

Bejeweled necklines, hand-painted florals, loops of fabric. What's not to love?

While Marchesa is the go-to dress-up design house this season, Anna Sui presented my favorite casual collection.

As if channeling my inner Laurel Canyon layabout, the softer side of the 70s sprung off the runways here in feathered necklaces, beaded bodices, suede half-boots and flowy blouses.
